We've been doing tutoring twice a week for the last six months in both english and maths, and my daughters confidence and skills have improved immensely. Adrian and the team at Kip McGrath have done a great job with transitioning to online support for my son over this covid period. They are interested in the individual needs of my child, and their platform for learning is stable and easy for my son to use on his own. My child has actually indicated that he prefers the online experience to being in the centre. The proof is in the pudding and Liam is doing much better in his studies, we believe that this can be attributed to the excellent support which he has received. The personalised guidance and lifting the confidence of our student has been amazing, improving from C- starting grades to A's, in both the terms we've arranged this year. Our student found it enjoyable and productive, clearing up the issues not being appropriately dealt with in class or in assessment feedback. Its really worth the investment, as schools are now so sensitive to ATAR numbers they discourage borderline year 10 maths kids from picking Senior Maths Methods, and thereby killing off future careers/uni courses that require higher YR11&12 math methods scores (Engineering, IT, Sciences etc). Your kids may not need Math Methods for some Uni courses, however the majority of higher end science, mathematics and business degrees in Qld require 'methods' as a prerequisite.
