Kip McGrath Highgate English & Maths Tutoring

My son has serious road blocks when it comes to maths that were really holding him back. Since starting with Kip McGrath Mitcham he’s gained confidence and is more willing to give maths a try. The homework is a great way to keep practicing throughout the week and reinforce what he’s learning. My daughter needed some extra help with English. Since starting at Kip McGrath her reading has improved a lot. Both my kids never want to go to tutor 🙄 but once they get there they have a great time and are always happy when I pick them up. They both really like their teacher and their communication with me is outstanding and they are really invested in helping my kids improve.

My Son is attending Kip McGrath since last 4 years and it has helped him to stay on top of his adamedic subjects at school, which in turn has increased his confidence. He now is in a high school and can make his future decisions with confidence because he knows that the teachers at Kip will be there to support and guide him through it all. My Daughter joined Kip McGrath in 2020 and since then she is above average in all subjects too in her school. When she started Kip, she was a year behind at school due to her absences related to her health. Kip McGrath has been an exponential help when it comes to our sons education. He struggles to stay on task at school and this impacts his ability to take in crucial info. We were worried that he would start to fall behind and subsequently lose his confidence with school work. The hour that he spends with Mrs Stevens has opened so many doors for him. He is attempting to read things on his own, before he refused. He is so much more confident and believes that he can achieve what he puts his mind to. We couldn’t thank Kip McGrath enough! The homework that our son does away from tutoring is engaging but challenging and helps us to learn how he learns best. We welcome the feedback from Mrs Stevens as it is constructive and it’s very evident that she enjoys tutoring our son as much as he enjoys the lesson too! Mrs Steven’s is very flexible in working around the pandemic also, so we don’t miss out.

Between them they’re a wealth of knowledge, so grateful we found them. I give them all the credit for our son being able to read independently, their program really works. Our tutor has worked so well to bring the best out in him and increase his confidence. They have built a solid foundation and continue to extend his knowledge. My daughter was having trouble with her maths. We took her to a tutor in the hills with no great improvement in her grade. We then brought her to Helen at Kip McGrath. She is now engaged in her learning and has seen a big improvement in her maths grade. She likes the computer systems used , rather than pen and paper.
