Highly Recommended Both my son and daughter have attended Kip McGrath for the past two years, and the improvement in their confidence and academic skills has been remarkable. The teachers are absolutely wonderful — Margaret and Charlotte in particular have been exceptional. They’ve created such a positive and engaging learning environment where my kids not only learned a lot but also enjoyed learning. They’ve developed great study techniques, improved their writing and comprehension skills, and now approach challenges with confidence. We’re so grateful to the Kip McGrath team for their dedication, patience, and support — it’s made a real difference in our children’s education.

Marg Mellican & Dr John West have done a fabulous job in restoring my son's confidence in himself through weekly tutoring (and thus his discipline, and love of maths) after an uneasy start to Grade 10 advanced maths. I had a disappointing experience with Kip McGrath. My son showed little to no improvement despite attending for a significant period. The teaching felt impersonal, with no real one-on-one support. There was also a lack of meaningful feedback on his progress, making it difficult to track any development. When I raised concerns, I felt dismissed and gaslit by the teacher rather than being given constructive solutions. It became clear that the focus was more on keeping students enrolled than actually helping them build useful skills. Unfortunately, this seems more like a business than an effective learning environment. Would not recommend.
