In October 2025, I enrolled both my girls for Maths and English at Kumon Castle Hill Terminus Street—one of the best parenting decisions I've made. Both girls started at an easy level, as is standard, and that's where it got hard: the work felt too simple to take seriously, so daily sessions became a battle. Neha, our instructor, helped us see that the easy work wasn't the point, it was the tool. Use it to build the habit first, she said, and the progress will follow. She was right. Now both girls come home from school, pick up their Kumon homework, and work through it without being asked. No reminders, no battles. The results followed too. My older daughter got ahead of her year level in six months —she's in extension classes at school and confident enough to help classmates. My younger one has gained real confidence in Maths and was selected for her school's high achievers program - she wasn’t fond of Maths before. We just wanted a study routine.
