Kumon Magill Education Centre

We’ve had a really positive experience with Kumon. Since starting 2 years ago, my son has become much more confident in his abilities, especially when it comes to exams—he no longer feels overwhelmed or stressed. What I really appreciate is how Kumon starts at your child’s current level of understanding, regardless of their school year. From there, it builds a strong foundation step by step, so they can confidently progress and eventually work at a level beyond their current grade which is very important especially in Mathematics as it is all about building on a strong foundation, and Kumon does this very well. By reinforcing core concepts step by step, it ensures that students truly understand each level before moving on. This has made a big difference, because if you don’t fully grasp earlier topics, it becomes very difficult to succeed at higher levels. Overall, Kumon has given my son both the skills and confidence he needs to keep progressing. The instructor here is also very kind and respectful and I can see he does his best to help my son.
Being a tutor at Kumon Magill for over three years is incredibly rewarding experience. The management team is highly professional and supportive. The curriculum ensures to build a strong foundation in Maths and English. The individualised approach allows me to tailor my teaching to each student's needs, fostering confidence and independence. Kumon's impact on students' academic growth and personal development is remarkable. I strongly recommend Kumon program for any student as it will definitely make them better learners.
Proven program on giving kids an good head start.
Kumoun is great if your child already knows basic maths as prerequisite. The excercises are yes advanced to what taught at school. But I have to pull my kids as the tutors dont check or at least teach an example to the kids. I thought tutor means that they will teach the kids first then give the exercises sheets. So i enrolled them to different tutor place which meets my expectations.
Never happy with this Kumon. Spent multiple years here, got my grades up but unsurprisingly this type of teaching will destroy your students or childs mental health, but its perfect for abusive parents. I dont recommend this system for more than 2-3 years for your child. The building also has hazards which means that it is not safe your child. When I was learning here, one of the roof lights feel out and a shard of plastic fell into a students eye. Another time, a whilst studying one a students table collapsed onto his lap. I can say this because I spent many years here. A lot of the students that come here are students that go to East Marden Primary School and schools around the Campelltown area, as seen by one of the reviewers here. I knew a lot of asian friends at school that went to this place and said it was a dump for their mental health. You can tell just by looking at the inside 😂(they are hosting inside some old church). They will make your child sit on a plastic chair for hours to either: 1. stare at the wall. 2. write rubbish on a black and white piece of paper 3. listen to another student screaming their lungs out😂 If you still decide to send your child here, each parent to their own 😩. Anything for grades, right? Attached below, in the red circle you can see an image of the former center instructor in the red circle.
