La Boite Theatre

I WENT TO WATCH MACBETH ON WEDNESDAY THE 12TH OF MARCH (their first showing) -- cyclone alfred caused a delay -- and it was so so so amazing. the fact that the cast was just 3 actresses, with all the roles there are in macbeth .. omg. and they made the witches the focus of the production!! one of their actresses was also sick, so the way they worked around that was incredible too. 10/10 definitely should go watch ‼️

Wonderful intimate performance space in Kelvin Grove Village It is a mid size theatre in the round for about 400 patrons This season this year( 2022) has four plays In comparison with six or seven plays per Covid I like the the redecoration of the foyer as it’s softer than the last harsher rendition The theatre company is 100 years old in 2025 and has been in this site almost two decades La Boite has a reputation for edgy experimentation and in my experience it certainly lived up to that!

Cute little theatre up on the hill. The bar had a good range of drinks and some pre-packaged snacks. Nice outdoor courtyard area to enjoy pre or post show drinks. Quirky theatre space, like many, tucked away in an unexpected building. We loved the show we saw here.

Amazing theatre and amazing staff. Messed up my ticket got the wrong session and they fixed it for me ! GOATed

Cool intimate theatre holding a few hundred people & only 10 or so rows so everything is close. Small stage that featured a 3 piece band for our show. Performance space allows for a variety of show types - ours was music theatre. Onsite bar with inside (air-conditioned) & outside seating. Also a food truck there tonight. Parking is paid on-street or some commercial car parks. Good service by BCC buses. Lots of fast food restaurants in area. Good night out.
