The pool facilities are good. The splash pool for little ones is particularly good for us with a toddler. But what I love most about here are the swim classes for babies/toddlers. The toys stations all around the pool and song based classes makes it so engaging. Our 19 month old absolutely loves going to her swim classes.

My boys are fairly beginner at 3 and 5 years old and they absolutely adore their swim classes. The pools are heated, making the winter more comfortable, they love the gardens and the play area and adore their teachers, particularly my 3yo’s teacher Thea who is amazing at getting the little ones to listen. We love the small classes and engaging set ups.

Irina the aqua aerobics and fitness instructor has been fantastic. Since my knee replacement in January I have attended Irina’s classes. I started in the rehab pool and gradually progress to deep water aqua aerobics. At the beginning I was unfit had poor core strength and was uncoordinated. After attending classes listening Irina’s instructions and advice I am getting fitter and healthier. Thanks heaps😊

After reading other reviews about rude staff, it reminded me of our own experience over the two years my son attended swimming lessons here, so I felt it was worth leaving a review. We attended Langlands weekly for swimming lessons. The younger staff members were generally lovely, but there are a few senior staff members who are consistently rude and dismissive, particularly an older female staff member at reception. I had twin girls who were two years old at the time, and we often had to wait for their four year old brother to finish his lesson. There is a large play area for children, but it was always closed. Every week, without fail, my toddlers would be told off or shouted at for even touching the toys through the small plastic fence. When I once asked when the play area would be open, the staff member snapped at me, “It says closed. That means it’s closed.” This wasn’t an isolated incident. It was the same ongoing rudeness, week after week, from the same person, who still works there. Another incident that still stands out was finding a large piece of human faeces in the middle of the girls’ change rooms. I reported it to staff, expecting it to be cleaned up promptly. Instead, it was left there with only a yellow warning sign placed over it. No one removed it for a significant amount of time, which was both unhygienic and shocking in a children’s facility. The final incident that made us leave involved a senior staff member who interfered with my parenting. My son had two minutes left of his final lesson and said he was bored and wanted to get out. I calmly told him to finish the last two minutes. The owner stepped in and repeatedly told him he didn’t have to go back in, directly contradicting me in front of my child. Each time I said he needed to finish the lesson, she told him the opposite. My son was left confused and upset, not knowing who to listen to. It was an extremely uncomfortable and bizarre situation. Overall, it’s a shame, because the lessons themselves were fine and some staff were genuinely kind. Unfortunately, the attitude of a few senior staff members completely ruins the atmosphere of the swim school.
