LJR Dance Academy

We’re incredibly grateful to the team at LJR Dance Academy for the understanding and support they’ve shown our family. In light of some recent personal events, we needed to discuss our commitments, and the way the team handled the conversation was exceptional. They approached the situation with genuine care, empathy and flexibility, always keeping the wellbeing of the child front of mind. It speaks volumes about the culture of the academy that they prioritise a supportive environment and the best interests of their students and families. Our daughter’s dancing has progressed markedly during her time here, she loves her teachers, and has made many wonderful friends. We’re very thankful for the kindness and professionalism they showed us, and we’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community.

They run a wonderful class for 2-3 year olds. Very age appropriate with lots of dress ups and fun. I also like that the namesakes (Lacey and Jadey) of the company are the ones that teach the class. Very fun!

Since moving to LJR, Lacie and Jadey have both been very involved in helping my daughter learn correct technique and unlearn bad habits, that were not corrected at her previous school. I’m grateful with the care they have taken of my daughter’s hypermobility, they have always been very proactive in giving advice and helping strengthen her body to avoid injury. I have nothing but praise for LJR and its teachers, it has become a second home to my daughter and we love how supportive all the teachers and students are towards each other.

My daughter started dancing at LJR when she was 2. Lacie and Jadey were welcoming from the first phone call I had with them. After being in a cast and brace they taught my daughter not only dance but also helped her walk and jump again. She is now competing on stage and has learnt so many new skills, has so much confidence and has made so many new friends who feel like family. Thank you LJR 💙

My daughter has been dancing at LJR for nearly 3 years and throughout that time her passion has continued to grow for her love of dance and performing. She is a musical theatre kid but has loved the opportunity and support to excel and grow in the many genres of dance offered at LJR. She is thriving in classes that focus on learning through positivity and in my opinion it is a dance academy that fosters excellence in a supportive environment.
