Luxana Academy of Music

My daughter learnt piano from Bianca when we moved to the other side of Melbourne for a couple of years and really enjoyed it. She came recommended by another teacher we knew. Bianca has such an encouraging and gentle approach with her students, and includes a wide variety of techniques and activities in her lessons to make them interesting and to develop broad musical skills. I especially liked the way she inspired my daughter to improvise and have a go at composing. Even though we have moved house again and had to find lessons elsewhere, that early example still has my daughter composing songs just for fun during the holidays! Bianca was also very thorough in preparing my daugher for her first AMEB exam and she achieved a good result. If the need to find another teacher arises again, Bianca would be our first choice!

Our kids worked with Bianca form Luxana. Not only did they learn how to read and play music but, learned they how to make it! We were so impressed with the approach and both of our kids continue to play, make and love music!
