Drum teacher Felix is a very kind man, very mature for his age. He helped me on my trial lesson to learn the basics of drums, and even when I was very slow, he was very patient with me and gave me many resources that I could use at home to practice. Will be coming back to Felix again soon.

I've been learning to play the drums at Mark Joe Hope Music School for just over 18 months now and I'm so glad I came across them. The teachers and owners are passionate, enthusiastic and really care about the learning experiences you have. In my short time there, they have offered opportunities to sit exams at AMEB, learn technical skills, perform in front of live audiences and learn and play whatever music style you love. The community of musicians you meet are also supportive and encouraging. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Mark Joe Hope Music School is excellent for mastering all aspects of music! Our son has been taking guitar and drum lessons, completed a songwriting workshop, and even joined a band. My daughter has been going to Mark Joe Hope music school for almost 2 years now and absolutely loves her drums lessons with Mitch - it’s a highlight of her week! Mitch is such a passionate and engaging teacher, and I appreciate how encouraging he is. He’s given her the confidence to audition for her school bands and is working hard towards her exam. We’re very happy with the professional and friendly approach of the Mark Joe Hope Music School. Grandchildren have been attending for two and a half years now I think. They are learning different disciplines, one singing and the other guitar. Both are more than happy to continue to attend. From my perspective the school has always been accommodating when we’ve had to miss lessons for one reason or another and to fit them in at the same time. I can really recommend them.
