Maroochy beach is a great club, the coaches are supportive, friendly and teach to the highest standards. The boys work so hard together and make a great team. We were made to feel welcome by everyone straight away, such a great place for our kids to train together !!!
Awesome! Both my girls attend and we love it. Would highly recommend the pre school program. Chrissy ia an absolute genius! The activities she comes up with are brilliant and so much fun. I absolutely love the coaches. We feel like part of the community and my kids are getting strong and flexible. There is no better place on the Coast for gymnastics
The teachers there are lovely and enthusiastic, and my children love the classes. The complex is bright, clean and modern with a nice sitting area for parents on the 2nd level to watch the classes. The Balanced Bean Cafe within the complex also serves great coffee, drinks and other snacks.
As a parent of a daughter that has trained here before it’s very disappointing to hear the poor treatment of young girls and the refusal of the management to take action to curtail such behaviour especially when you should be instilling confidence, trust and support among many other traits. Big 👎 .
I had an incredibly poor experience at Maroochydore Gymnastics, and I wouldn't even give it one star if I could. The club president's behavior was absolutely appalling. Firstly, during a meeting to address my concerns, the president continuously talked over me and seemed more interested in dwelling on the problem than finding a solution. It was frustrating and unprofessional. Secondly, I witnessed the president spending a whopping 50 minutes on the phone while parents, including myself, were left waiting for her to address our issues. This complete lack of consideration for our time was disrespectful and showed a complete disregard for the parents' concerns. But that's not all. In an absolutely shocking incident, the club president hid my children for a whole hour without informing the parents or their school about their whereabouts. Brooke hidden the children in an area out of bounds for parents access to they were nowhere to be found. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is beyond belief. Moreover, the club president's phone conversations were rude, arrogant, and obnoxious in nature. It was clear that she had no respect for the parents or their valid concerns. On top of all this, the lack of communication from the club about my children's progress was extremely disappointing. It seemed like they couldn't be bothered to keep parents informed about their own kids' development. The worst part is the complete lack of a proactive approach to addressing problems. Instead of trying to resolve issues, they avoided contact and seemed content staying in their comfort zone. Overall, the unprofessional and shocking behavior displayed by the club president was truly appalling. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of Maroochydore Gymnastics and find a more responsible and respectful place for their children's gymnastics training. In addition to the previous grievances, I must also highlight the complete lack of feedback on the progress of the children at Maroochydore Gymnastics. Despite repeatedly requesting feedback, it was consistently ignored, leaving us completely in the dark about our children's development and performance in the program. Our family has been loyal members of this gymnastics club for approximately eight years, and it is deeply disheartening to be treated with such neglect and indifference. We had hoped that our longstanding relationship would be valued and appreciated, but it appears that the club has no regard for the loyalty of its members. The fact that our concerns and feedback were disregarded for such an extended period only adds to our disappointment. It is clear that Maroochydore Gymnastics lacks basic communication and customer service skills, which are vital for maintaining a healthy and positive relationship with its members. As parents, we want the best for our children and have always entrusted their gymnastics training to this club. However, the ongoing issues, lack of feedback, and unprofessional behavior from the club's president have shattered our trust and confidence in the establishment. Considering the combination of poor communication, neglect of parental concerns, and disrespectful treatment, I strongly advise prospective gymnasts and their families to think twice before becoming involved with Maroochydore Gymnastics. There are surely better alternatives that value and respect their members and provide a more supportive and enriching experience for young athletes.
