Mat Creedon School of Music

Mat has been part of our son’s musical journey for many years, teaching piano, guitar, voice and songwriting. His presence as a teacher has been consistently calming, encouraging and deeply enriching. Mat has a rare ability to meet a young musician where they are, nurture confidence, and gently invite growth without pressure. The learning has always felt humane, attentive and joyful. We’ve been very grateful for the care and skill he brings to his work, and would recommend him without hesitation.

My son Aren has been learning with Mat for nearly 6 years, starting at age 5 and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey Mat has guided him through. He hasn’t just taught Aren how to play instruments, he’s helped him fall in love with music. Over the years, I’ve watched Aren’s confidence, curiosity, and passion for music grow so naturally under Mat’s guidance. He looks forward to every lesson, not just because of the music, but because Mat makes the space feel safe, fun, and exciting. Aren started out on piano, gradually discovered the drums, and now also plays strings. What makes Mat so special is his patience and the way he lets children truly explore music at their own pace.

When it comes to music, Mat is a one stop shop. To call him an amazing teacher is an understatement. If you’re looking to use his services, take this as your sign! Within the same month I began guitar lessons, I could write my own songs thanks to Mat’s tailored teaching. He decoded guitar theory for me in a way that made learning a new instrument feel inviting as he shares with his students his vast musical knowledge with devotion, compassion and wise insights. I’m looking forward to experiencing more of Mat’s healing sound baths and producing and releasing my songs with the help of Mat. He is one in a million, thanks Mat!

I have been fortunate to enjoy 2 lovely sound baths conducted by the talented Mat Creedon. Mat goes the extra mile to ensure you have an amazing experience. For me it was very healing and cathartic, and after the session we each shared our transformative experience with one another. I felt very calm and highly alert.
