Maxx Music Store Castle Hill

Maxx Music has been an outstanding place for our family. My kids attend academic music lessons there (piano and drums), and the quality of teaching and care they receive is excellent. At the same time, I’ve been a long-time customer for my band gear, and the service has always been top-notch. I'm a student here. The teachers are super chill but still teach well, and the store also has a lot of good things and they do fix/re string ur guitar pretty fast.

One of my first go-to music shops in the Hills, the business has stayed the distance and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They also provide lessons and pre-owned instruments and equipment are for sale on their website.

Have referred a fair few of my students to these guys over the years to handle restrings and such when I couldn't fit them in. They have always been well taken care of by the team at Maxx. Highly recommend!

store is OK, but $60 for a restring is unethical. I remember even just a year ago the guy behind the counter restrung my guitar free of charge while I was browsing the store - I ended up buying another set of strings as a token of gratitude. I sincerely hope they don’t charge students struggling with their first guitars the same amount for changing their strings.
