Melbourne Art Classes

Jen’s adult art classes in Port Melbourne have been a game changer. She gave me the confidence to give art a proper go, without overthinking it. Her classes are relaxed, supportive, and great for all skill levels. I love having two hours each week to focus completely on my art. It’s become a highlight of my week.

Jennifer's classes have been a wonderful experience for me so far! She has a wealth of knowledge about painting and explains it really clearly. I've been wanting to learn how to paint any objects or landscapes that I might want to, and needing to understand the techniques better. Jennifer's instruction is making me feel much more confident about being able to do that. I highly recommend these classes!! ☺️

I was looking for art classes which would help me to get back to my long-forgotten hobby of drawing and painting and was very lucky to find Jen’s classes. She introduced me into the world of color theory which demystified some mysteries and opened up endless opportunities into learning and growing my artistic self. Jen provided me with detailed instruction on what materials I need (although being very mindful of various budgets she offers different options). Her classes has only a small group of people making it perfect not just as learning environment (Jen spends plenty of time with each of us), but also allow for a little bit of laughter and fun. Overall, I truly enjoy learning with Jen and can definitely recommend her classes.

The classes have been fun and educational, with plenty of individual attention from Jennifer in class and heaps of online material to keep you going outside of class. Jennifer tailors her teaching to all levels and is particularly good at demystifying art for newcomers, like me. Her enthusiasm and passion for drawing and painting and passing it onto her students makes the classes a highlight of the week.
