Melbourne Tumbling Academy

Luke is a wonderful coach! Our daughter started tumbling with coach Luke 4 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Through Luke’s guidance she was able to go from development levels, to National levels and has competed at the Australian National Gymnastics Competition three years in a row representing her state. She finds Luke an easy coach to work with and he sets clear goals for her. He is encouraging and positive but is also able to challenge her to learn new skills. The most important thing is that that she enjoys training with him and loves her sport. I highly recommend MTA and Luke as a coach, whether you are a competitive tumbler or just wanting to do it for fun and fitness.

My daughter has loved working with Luke at Melbourne Tumbling Academy. His knowledge and professional approach have helped her to gain confidence and continue progressing in her tumbling. Luke coached my daughter Mia in his development tumbling squad for over two years. During this time, Mia went from being a complete beginner to mastering five whips on the tumble track. Under Luke's guidance and expertise, Mia achieved the title of Western Australia Tumbling Champion at the 2021 WA Junior Tumbling Championships for her level in tumbling. Luke is great as a gymnastics coach, he is generous with his time and committed to athlete development. His coaching is holistic, Eg he takes into account different abilities/ limitations and works with the athlete to reach the outcome. Luke provides targeted drills to correct form, function and even delivered personalized written programs to give athletes direction. He is patient and willing to re-explain things. I’ve found Luke to be attentive and spreads his time equally amoung group members. Thank you, for the coaching.
