This shop is a must see! I finally had a chance to make the trip down to Kingston on Friday, but as I had my daughter with me who's music interest doesn't sway too far away from some Taylor Swift person.., so therefore I didn't have anywhere near the amount of time one could spend there, as there is so much to go through. Vinyl and CD's, all very well presented & reasonably priced. Service from the owner(s) is exceptional. Friendly and professional. Love this shop & can't wait to have a look through with way more time to spare.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Owner is the friendliest guy in retail I've ever met. Knows the store like the back of his hand and happy to order in anything he doesn't have in stock at quite competitive rates. Massive range of 60's-90's, every kind of metal, concert DVDs, film soundtracks, and you cannot beat Melrock on Japanese imports. Unbelievably cheap too! Most CDs are $10-$15, uncommon and new releases are $20-$35. Looking forward to coming back again, and again, and again!

melrock is truly a shop sent from above with the sweetest owners and workers and a WIDE variation of artists on cd, vinyl and tapes. i only had like 10 cds to my name before finding out about melrock but as soon as i started going there i cant fit my cds anywhere on my shelf. i love

They are terrific the shop is tidy and there is a very good collection of vinyl LP I have bought a few LPs and I would highly recommend them it was the best thing that’s happened to Kingston for a long time John
