Modern Sounds is a fantastic music school and run by two very caring and professional people (Rick and Amanda). After each lesson you receive a note summarising what was covered, what was done well and what to work on. They are so encouraging of the students and it is a really lovely learning environment. Highly recommend giving it a try. You wont be disappointed!

As a mum, I couldn't be happier with the experience my son has had at Modern Sound Music in Lane Cove. He’s been taking both drum and bass guitar lessons here for the past year, and it’s been such a positive journey for him. The teachers are not only skilled but so patient and encouraging. They really take the time to understand his strengths and areas to improve, which has made him feel comfortable and excited to learn. The environment is warm and welcoming, Amanda is awesome manager and I love that the school is both professional and fun—my son genuinely looks forward to his lessons each week. The balance between technical skill and creativity is great. As a parent, I also appreciate how flexible they are with lesson times.
