Mount Hawthorn Playgroup

We hired this venue for our son’s 4th birthday party and it was absolutely perfect. The space has both indoor and outdoor areas, which worked so well for the kids and adults alike. The indoor area was air-conditioned and very comfortable, and having access to a kitchen made everything so much easier for food and drinks. The venue was clean, spacious and very practical for a children’s party. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-set-up, family-friendly venue

We hosted my son's 4th birthday party here on Sunday and had such an amazing experience. Firstly, the whole booking experience was so seamless. Book online, pay online, email arrives with all details and instructions. The venue itself is wonderful- fully equipped kitchen, secure playground, lots of toys for the kids to play with and seating for parents both inside (with AC) and out. It was clean, well cared for and everyone enjoyed the party. I wouldn't hesitate to book again! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience 🤍

We just hosted a 1st birthday party here and received so many compliments from guests on our choice of venue. It was perfect for both kids (our guests ranged from 0-5yrs) and parents because it's all enclosed, light and bright, clean and safe. I did a lot of research on party venues in the area before choosing Mt Hawthorn Playgroup and I'm glad I did - the play area outside with soft ground is a winner with the kids and the shed is packed with fun ride-on toys. There was plenty for the kids to do inside and out, they all had an absolute ball. It was also very easy to book and access. The only tricky thing is it is a little hard to find and parking can be difficult because there are playgrounds and the toy library next door plus another playgroup across the road. I would just suggest that future hosts give their guests a heads up on how exactly to find the venue. The venue does provide one sign that you can put out the front.

We have a weekly session here with our Mothers Group and it's a great well stocked facility with a private outdoor play area too. I have also hired the venue for a birthday party and it was excellent. So easy due to the well stocked kitchen, cleaning products, toilet, toys and private outdoor play area including outdoor toys. Our guests all agreed it was a great venue.
