My Little Havana - Cuban Music & Latin Dance Academy

I’ve been learning Cuban salsa at My Little Havana, Cuban Music & Latin Dance Studio, and it has been such a wonderful experience. Jo is an incredible teacher. She is so welcoming, supportive, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. As an adult learning Cuban salsa for the first time, I really appreciated how patient and encouraging she is throughout the classes. The classes cater to all levels, whether you are a complete beginner like me or have more experience. Jo brings so much wisdom and knowledge to her teaching, and she creates a fun and engaging environment that makes learning enjoyable. I’ve learnt so much in such a short time and genuinely look forward to each class. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn Cuban salsa in a supportive and positive space.

Jo is the best instructor! Her classes are so much fun and are always the highlight of my week. She is welcoming, encouraging, and makes every lesson a great time, no matter your experience level. Definitely recommend this place! I was super nervous about taking my first classes, but Joanne made me feel super comfortable and the classes were really fun. I learned a lot really quickly and feel comfortable to dance in a social setting after just a couple of months. 100% recommend!

If you're looking to get into salsa. Jo is the real deal. She's an excellent teacher who really knows how to break it down and make it easy to learn. What sets her apart is how much time she spends with each student, making sure everyone improves and is feeling confident. Her classes are a great mix of serious learning and chilled vibe. Jo pushes you to get better but always keeps it positive. Couldn't recommend her more!
