A great facility, rebuilt recently and has all you need. 2 main pools, learn to swim pool and a warm water rehab pool in the aquatic centre part. Generally pretty busy at peak times but can still get equipment in the gym or not overly busy lanes in the pool. The spa and sauna are very popular. A great local amenity in the inner north.

I have no mean to complaint here the stuff and the facility is just great, but is a bit of waste that this kid outdoor play area is full of large rubble and no kid can stand and play without stepping on it. It would be great to have a bit more fine rubble or even just regular sweeping back to the shower stand. Keep up the good work. thank you for looking into it. 4 stars!

The renovation and the rebuild of this pool and gym was very successful, definitely an improvement to the previous gym and pool when it use to be owned by YMCA. Both the exterior and interior look very modern and very good compared to the previous. Inside the interior of the pool features a water park designed for kids with a water slide, a nice and warm sauna designed for adults, two pools with different lanes (one approximately 5ft, the other approximately 2ft). The outdoor pool contains one single 5ft pool with lanes and an outdoor water play designed for kids (similar to the ones seen around sand at playgrounds). The gym features exercise equipment like rower machine, treadmill, weights, exercise bikes etc. I have been there to this pool many times over 15 years when it use to be YMCA and the old building, been to the new NARC since the launch opening in November 2023. The only reason why I've taken off one star is because there is not enough car spaces and can be frustrating to find one as the parking spaces are most of the time full, but the actual aquatic centre itself is 5 stars. Would highly recommend going there for swimming and exercising.

Overall nice better than other nearby pools. Staff are very helpful and lovely. Hygiene definitely can get better. Showers and change rooms need more regular cleaning. The shower water sometimes faulty , no heating and the water is ice cold. Extra car parks would be also nice.

If you lose something here be prepared to never be reunited with your item… it seems thievery could be rife at NARC as when I filled out the lost property report I saw other reports of items including MacBooks and gold watches that had also been listed as ‘lost’…. I recommend using the lockers, although I misplaced my sunglasses in the change room (my fault) and when I popped back 5 minutes later they had been taken lol. In addition the facilities on Sunday were shockingly dirty. The floor in both the women’s change rooms/unisex toilets were filthy and soaking wet? Two of the indoor showers were also broken. And the water in the outdoor pool was also suspiciously milky in appearance on Sunday (gross)…. Also the outdoor areas needs a bit of TLC as it’s lacking in shade and comfortable seating. But I guess if you want to sit on dead grass, sticks and dirt in the hot sun then this is the place for you… confused by all the 5 star reviews as I found the facilities to be lacking. Needs some improvements.
