Northern Music School

My daughter started piano lessons 2 years ago at Northern music when she was 4 years old. Her teacher Jen is highly skilled and very patient and a good teacher; she keeps my daughter motivated by making learning interesting for her. So my daughter looks forward to her lessons every week. The school is very organised and I gladly recommend it to all students.

My 2 daughters have been learning piano at Northern Music School for over 10 years. Their teacher Leon is fantastic. He allows them to learn at a pace that is comfortable to his students both with practical and theory. Recitals are usually held at half year and end of year. This is a chance for students to play in front of a small audience of friends and family of the student and other students. Vocals and all other musical instruments are on show. I highly recommend all students of any age to participate in the recitals. They are a valuable experience to give a student self confidence. Thank you to John, Leon, and all teachers who have taught at Northern Music School for the past 10 years or so.

My son has just recently started guitar lessons at Northern Music School. I have been very happy with the school so far. Management is professional and courteous, and my son's new teacher seems very pleasant and enthusiastic.

My daughter has just completed her 3rd year at Northern Music School and was the first recipient of the fantastic scholarship NMS offers each term. The school is so organised and the teachers are lovely and passionate about teaching music. My daughter enjoys her keyboard lessons and is looking forward to another year.

Both my kids and their grandmother attend NMS and I'm very pleased with their progress. Both Leon and Dave are fantastic teachers. They're dedicated, patient and caring. My kids enjoy their music lesson and look forward to going back the following week. I highly recommend NMS to people of all ages.
