Nutaofit Martial Arts Academy

Our 5 year old has been taking lessons in Moorabbin for about a year. His instructors are Paul and Erhardt - both with a passion for their art and an ability to quickly build rapport with the kids. The approach to teaching is well thought through and incorporates a lot of play but also a fair bit of discipline, respect and self awareness. Paul is always happy to elaborate on his methods and the ‘why’ behind each lesson. Both Paul and Erhardt are very good with the kids and very patient. We found the environment to be very accepting and inclusive.

All my 3 kids, my wife and my self went to different classes in NMAA for 4 years. The teachers are professional, kind and patient. Especially Paul, who had shown a great connection with the kids, who learned to respect and to have self-discipline. As of myself, I attended the kickboxing classes and they were excellent, both as a workout session but more than that, as actual way to learn self-defence techniques and try them on one-on-one sessions.

I have fond memories of the months during which Geoff Hutchinson, Paul Mracek and their black-belt students trained me how to avoid, resist and ward off physical attack. And the way they trained children and girls was something to behold. If my grandchildren were living in Melbourne, I would be taking them there every week!

As a senior student who has been with the academy for over 12 years, I certainly can highly recommend the various specialised martial arts classes offered at NMAA. The instructors are extremely highly qualified & trained, very easy to work with. The prices are very reasonable with easy payment methods & there is a wide variety of kids/family friendly classes as well as classes to suit all levels. NMAA has changed my life!!
