Pete's Swim School in Queanbeyan

Kids loving new pool! Now I can have both kids doing their classes at the same time :) We were on waiting list over two terms to get started at Pete’s. We were not sure if it is worth waiting that long plus 20 mins drive to get to QBN when we had another group class in 5 mins drive distance. Our kids only started this term but I can see big improvements, they learn something new every class. Both kids other activities but this is definitely the most valuable investment we made for our kids. Highly recommended, specially for parents who feel like kids are not improving even though they have been attending group classes for a while. Quality over quantity, getting basics right from the very beginning.

My family and I have been attending Pete’s swim school for the past six years, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The instructors are professional and knowledgeable, and they have a great approach to teaching children how to swim. My son and daughter have been taking lessons here, and I have seen a significant improvement in their swimming skills. The instructors are patient and have a way of making the kids feel comfortable in the water, which has helped them gain confidence. Pete is great at communicating and if we have to be absent from a class it’s easy to notify them using their Swimstart App and then we can arrange a make up class at another time. Overall, I highly recommend Pete's Swim School for anyone looking for a wonderful swim school. The Pete and his instructors are top-notch, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. It's been a wonderful experience for my family, and we look forward to many more years of swimming here.

My twins have been attending Pete's since they were 3 yrs old. It is amazing to see how they have progressed from no skills at all to being able to swim the length of the small pool. All swim instructors are professional and experienced, and a big plus is that my kids love them all...their main teachers Sarah and Pete are both great and have different personalities and approaches that appeal to the kids. I would recommend Pete's Swim School to anyone who is considering lessons.

Pete and his team are excellent at what they do. The swimming lesson is quiet, calm and focused. My daughter has been swimming with Pete for nearly 2 years and due to his tuition is steadily improving. I would recommend Pete for everyone, but particularly for kids who don’t like the chaos of the bigger swim schools and may be a bit nervous. He is also lovely with the kids - firm but kind.

I highly recommend Pete's Swim School, my daughter is four and has had 10 lessons with Pete and his staff and is already starting to swim independently. She has grown so confident in such a short period of time due to the friendly, caring, encouraging and professional manner in which the staff teach their students. Also the class sizes are perfect, very small allowing one on one interaction for each student making it easy to build a repore between student and teacher.
