Private 30-minute lessons available at a first-lesson discount of $49. Lessons can be taken solo or with a partner.

My partner and I had a private lesson for our anniversary, which has turned into weekly lessons for the last year We couldn't recommend Phoenix highly enough. We have had several instructors and every one has been fantastic. 10/10
My husband and I had five lessons with Jess who taught us how to waltz for our first dance at our wedding. Not only that, but Jess helpfully guided us with a choreographed dance we found on YouTube to the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, and she also adjusted some parts to suit our dance. Jess made our lessons really enjoyable, even when we messed up our moves! I never realised how much fun waltzing can be, even for beginners!
10/10 fun experience! Jarrod was lovely and went along with our laughs while we learned salsa for the first time! We definitely be back for a class with him :)
Ada and Advay choreographed and amazing first dance for my partner and I. We had never danced before and they did a fantastic job making sure we were dancing within our comfort level and moves that we felt comfortable with. They were great at listening to what we wanted and incorporating it into the dance. Our friends and family thought we were experienced dancers at our wedding and brought people to tears!!
We couldn’t recommend Phoenix Dance Studio more highly! We did an intro session with Miriam and then 5 dance lessons with Tom for our first dance, and they were both incredible. Tom perfectly understood what we were hoping for with our first dance, and made the lessons so much fun - it was the perfect date night activity in the lead up to the wedding! For two people that had no idea how to dance, Tom made it so simple and easy to follow, provided so much helpful advice and expertise, and adapted moves to suit our comfort level and vision for our first dance. As a result we loved our first dance on the night - we both felt relaxed and enjoyed it as a moment to share with each other, rather than panicking about not knowing what to do or awkwardly swaying! It’s made for some of our favourite photographed moments of the night, and a fantastic learning experience overall. Thanks so much again!
