I saw Any Moment on their opening night. It was a great performance in a beautiful venue. The venue is small and has an eclectic vibe which adds to the charm of the show. As a tourist to Brisbane, it felt like a unique experience that showcased great local talent. I can't wait to see another show there when I'm back in Brisbane.
We took our 5 & 7 year old grandchildren and they loved the experience. The story line kept us all interested. They loved the costumes, the cast & set. I've shared this with other friends who are grandparents. They're already asking when they can go again.
I cannot say enough good things about Pip Theatre. For a small team, they have a full program of shows on offer and the staff are always so warm and welcoming. I love that it is situated in Park Rd- I often grab dinner from one of the many restaurants nearby before seeing a show- and the venue itself is an absolute vibe. So cozy and full of heart and personality. It’s also very close to public transport and has street and off street parking available if you want to drive. Highly recommend if you want to support independent theatre in Brisbane.
PIP Is a fantastic small theatre. They offer an eclectic selection of plays in an intimate space. There is an upstairs courtyard where you can enjoy pre-show drinks and treats from a well stocked bar. The staff are welcoming and friendly, they always seem genuinely happy to see you. Highly recommend for a great evening of entertainment. Being on Milton Road there are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner before or after the show.
The play “Anthropology” was an interesting exploration of how AI might be used to enter a lost person’s online history an so create a believable “recreation” of the missing one. The acting was very convincing and the extensive technology was well handled by the off-stage operator. Congratulations to all concerned. Neville April 2026 The play “Female of the Species” was extremely well done. All 6 actors were excellent and delivered the comedy at a cracking pace. The set was striking and the theatre layout with seating along the sides of the playing space kept the audience all within close proximity to the action. This is one of the very shows I have seen at PIP Theatre
