Playlab Theatre

Playlab supports playwrights at all levels of their craft: from first idea for a first play, all the way through to production and publication. They helped me when I was starting out and gave me a foot up with my first play. I'll always be grateful for their support, advocacy and commitment to theatre.

Can't applaud these guys highly enough. Incredibly generous with their time and energy in helping to organise a scratch night for the local arts community. So lovely to see an organisation so willingly open their arms to the independent sector, and so dedicated to the growth of new, locally developed works. Highly recommended on all fronts.

Playlab provide an amazing service to Queensland-based playwrights and theatre-makers. They are working hard to change the cultural landscape of Brisbane, turning it into a place where world-class theatre is devised, refined and shared with the public.

A wonderful team who are very supportive of independent artists. The rehearsal room is a great space for rehearsals, workshops and meetings.
