Excellent place to swim and chill out on the comfy beds. The temperature of the water was perfect and the entrance price was more than reasonable as well (7 dollars per person)
Well don't go past Malvern Rd opposite Surry Rd near chapel st...pay just $4.50 and in case you didn't come prepaid, buy towels, nice bathers, bottles of water etc. .The most beautiful, huge outdoor refreshing pool,🫧 nestled in the heart of the busiest place in Melb ....chapel st!...you have a new skateboarding park next door, you can kick back on the grass or in the seated area looking down on the pool. 💦got a beautiful indoor sauna and huge heated spa. 🫧🌅Pool was very clean, had a great atmosphere, very friendly, laid back locals. Icy cold water available at the water fountain .⛲
$2 entry for a swim on extreme heat day! Nice vibe, everyone is chilled and friendly. Lots of shade. Not luxe but perfect for cooling down and catching up with friends. Lifeguards on duty and pool temp is perfecto!
The recent price increase is outrageous. In just two years, the entry fee has jumped from $6 to $9, a 50% rise yet the facilities look almost exactly the same. There’s no visible sign of major renovations to the change rooms or outdoor pool. This is a public swimming pool, funded by taxpayers to remain accessible to the community. A $9 entry fee is insane, especially with no discount for local residents. If you’re a local reading this we should all collectively write to the council to get this lowered!
Monday 9th of March 2:31pm! I’m really disappointed with the service my dad and I received at Prahran Pool today. The two staff members working at the front desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of assisting with my dad’s question, they spoke in a dismissive tone and made the experience uncomfortable. Customer service at a community facility should be welcoming and respectful, but unfortunately this was the opposite. I felt like my presence was an inconvenience rather than being treated as a visitor using the facility. I hope management looks into this and reminds staff that basic courtesy and professionalism go a long way. I enjoy using local facilities, but experiences like this make it difficult to want to return.
