Reiko Martial Arts

We signed our boys (4 & 7) up about 5 weeks ago (including the free trial), and it’s been such a great experience from the start. The classes are run so well for kids, engaging, structured, and really supportive. In such a short time, we’ve already seen a big difference in their confidence, listening skills, and discipline. They’re also learning valuable self-defence skills in a really positive environment. Best of all, they absolutely love going each week, which says everything. We honestly wish we had found this place sooner. Highly recommend to any parents thinking about getting their kids involved!

Loving the safe, family friendly environment that Reiko has created. Its been 30yrs since I trained and practiced Zen Do Kai and love being back training again (wish I didnt wait so long) Learning so much in self defence and the fitness is great to. Fantastic to be able to have sparring sessions with a great bunch of members without big ego's and not be concerned about getting hurt. In todays environment and if you have children, I would highly recommend you enroll them with Reiko and have them taught street smart self defence to assist them to look after themselves in an unfortunate situation and not just that, it is common knowladge that a child with a Martial Arts history is less likely to be a target for bullies.... My son has been attending Reiko Martial‑Arts for a few weeks now. The instructors’ benevolence creates a fun, balanced and nurturing environment - watching his confidence and pride increase with each lesson is a blessing :). Highly recommended!

Great gym for anybody looking to get into martial arts in the Palmerston area. They have more black belts than a Toyota factory very willing to help out. Very affordable. Well worth a try for anyone and everyone.

My son started a couple of months ago, and it has significantly improved his focus. He has always been keen about fitness, but now he has been taken to a new level. He eagerly looks forward to every lesson and can already see his own progress. The trainers are approachable and take their time when training the students.
