What parents say
5.0It’s a nice place to take your kids for learning to swim. Not extremely busy. The swimming instructors are very patient. This is what is needed when kids are learning a new skill. Highly recommend this place for children to learn to swim. Depending on what time of the day, street parking can be a little challenging. Other than that, don’t look too far to get your children to a swimming learning centre.
5.0A great swim school who works hard to get your children to be confident swimmers. They work with you to ensure your child is benefiting the best they can. Their swim teachers are consistent and they work well at informing you on any changes that may be happening. Both my children enjoy their classes and teachers. We have had a lot of great teachers and it's always so nice to see familiar faces everytime we go.
5.0Bernadette is very good teacher, my son had been with different coaches and been different swimming school. She has so much passion for the kids even she is in manger position but you can see that she really enjoying teaching the children. My son was quit behind but since he joined the holiday intensive program with Bernadette , I can see him improve a lot. Much appreciated she even travel far away to look after the kid at denistone east.
1.0I preferred the previous supervisor — the Asian gentleman — as he was more flexible, friendly, and approachable with kids and families. The new supervisor comes across very strict, almost like a security guard. She seems under a lot of stress and sometimes communicates in a tense or grumpy way, which can feel uncomfortable for families. Working around children and parents requires understanding, patience, and compassion. There is a clear difference between someone who genuinely enjoys their role and someone who may be struggling with it.
1.030min Class always starts a few minutes late and kids out of the water a couple of minutes before class finishing time. Teacher student ratio 1-5 and almost always at capacity. Been here for 3 years with minimal progress. Do not waste your money
