Sensory Learning Services & Tutoring

After receiving feedback from our school that our son may have dyslexia and learning difficulties, we found Marisa at Sensory Learning Services. From the initial assessment through to ongoing tutoring, the experience has been extremely positive. Our son has shown noticeable improvements in both his reading and writing skills, and his confidence has grown significantly. I can't recommend Sensory Learning Services and Tutoring enough! Marisa provided tutoring to my son for 4 years. I have no doubt in saying that his achievements have been due to the work he did with her. Marisa provided a safe, supportive and encouraging space and the program assisted him to achieve excellent outcomes at school despite his learning difficulties. He was often one step ahead with what he had learnt with Marisa and felt confident due to the strategies he had been taught to implement through the program.

Marissa really took the time to get to know our son and his interests helping him overcome his anxiety, his progress since starting with her has been amazing and Marissa’s willingness to work with his teachers has been great.
