Shapland Swim School Sinnamon Park

Our son had tried 3 different swim schools and always cried at every single lesson, it was torture for him and us! Luckily we found Shapland that is semi private and costs the same as the crowded ones! It is a bit of a drive but it’s totally worth it, he loves going to swimming now and every Saturday he wakes up asking “are we going swimming? I’m so excited! “ if you have a little one with sensory issues etc this is a game changer! Huge pool with max 6 kids at once (3 per class), air conditioned viewing area for parents! (We used to struggle to find a place to sit at other places cause it was so crowded! And we get a changing area cause 40 kids are not Coming out finishing a lesson at the same time! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Great little swim school. 20 min classes of usually max 3 students. Lots of feedback with achievements to track progress. They make every effort to accommodate tricky schedules.

My son was enrolled at Shapland Swim School Sinnamon Park for 2.5 months until we moved interstate. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Heated pool, small classes and staff that genuinely care about the children and their progress. My son (17 months) who was initially intimidated by the water has come leaps and bounds in such a short time, it has been amazing to see and we are very sad that our journey with them has ended.

Couldn’t be happier, Sarah, Larissa & Nicki are wonderful and patient teachers. Love the small class sizes in a calmer environment.

Owner is lovely but this is not value for money at all. 20 minute lessons, the kids hardly do anything in that time. The real kicker was they often didn’t start on time and would wrap up the lessons 1-2 mins early. So sometimes you would get a 16-17 minute lesson which is really dishonourable. Instructors should be set up in the pool ready to start exactly on time. If a child in the class doesn’t want to get in, instructor spends quite a bit of time trying to get them in, chewing into the already limited time we have.
