Shapland Swim Schools - Moorooka

This place is a treasure. We've tried a few different swim schools and this one is by far the best for our 4 year old. We actually drive 20 mins to get here because we like it so much. Our daughter Esther absolutely loves April. April has really helped with her confidence and thus her ability in the water. All of the other instructors are excellent too. Great makeup lesson policies too.

Both of my kids attend lessons at Shapland Moorooka and we love it! The swim instructors are absolutely brilliant with kids and so supportive of their learning. The girls have become very confident swimmers since coming here so highly recommend especially for beginners ;)

My 2 kids love swimming at Shaplands Moorooka. My son has been going for 2-3 yrs and he has grown to not only love the lessons but also the swimming teachers who he has come to know. Lucas and the team are all very professional and approachable and make the lesson not only educational but really fun. Only 3 kids to a class so they get a lot of hands on attention and the heated pool is a great size.

An excellent swim school- cannot rate highly enough. My daughter started in 2013 as a baby and is now 6 yrs olds and an excellent and very confident swimmer. My 2 young sons (4 and 9mo) are also enrolled and are quickly developing into proficient swimmers. We live 30 mins away but choose to travel to Shapland Moorooka weekly rather than change to a closer swim school because we feel that we could not get better swimming tuition than the kids are getting under the guidance of Lucas and the other instructors. Can't recommend enough!

Lucas is such a patient teacher who really takes great care to build rapport with each child. He never pushes a student to go beyond what they’re comfortable with. My little one was scared of getting water on her face and now she’s jumping into the water before it’s her turn. She’s so excited about swimming that she runs to her lesson. Her lesson is a highlight of our week. During winter it’s a great way to stay in practice in a heated pool that doesn’t wreak of chlorine.
