As a mature adult returning to ballet after a 30 year-hiatus, I recommend Shilleena's Dance Academy. Teachers and fellow students alike are warm, engaging, caring, and fun to be around. I genuinely look forward to classes each week!

Everyone is so nice and it is always a lot of fun!!! Definitely enrol here it’s a great way to learn to dance.

My daughter has danced at SDA for the past 7 years, since she was three. We love the inclusiveness of this school, catering for all levels of dance ability. The teachers are amazing and she has made lifelong friends through dance. Concerts are professional and entertaining while keeping the focus on having fun. A great school for beginners through to serious dancers.

My daughter is in her 5th year with SDA and could not be happier. The community is so supportive and everything is run smoothly with really clear communication which makes it so much easier when you are a dance mum with no idea what you’re doing! Could not recommend SDA enough, you can really feel how much passion for dance is behind it from Miss Shilleena herself to all the wonderful teachers and the students too; it is just lovely to be a part of.

Shilleena runs a professional and very organised non-competitive dance school. She always accommodates our ever changing timetable and responds rapidly to any queries.
