Skill Samurai - Coding, Maths & STEM Academy

My daughter has attended Skill Samurai for the best part of two years. She has done a weekly lesson after school plus camps like 3D Printing. Kiran and the team are exceptional. They are warm and welcoming to parents and students alike. They are incredibly responsive for anything you may need (make up classes etc) and have inspired my now ten year old who is officially obsessed with coding and has progressed from Scratch to Python. They also create portfolios of work that can be shared with school and lovely touches like t-shirts and personalized 3D printed key rings. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We've had a wonderful experience at Skill Samurai in Lane Cove. My son really looks forward to his coding and maths classes each week. The instructors are welcoming, patient, accommodating and genuinely card about the kids. He's making good progress and has become much more confident with both subjects. Highly recommended.

Iris is in year 6 and loves robotics. I searched for a place where she could further explore this. After reading the reviews on Skill Samurai, I enrolled her for all the available camps during the second week of school holidays. At the end of her first day at camp, I asked Iris to rate her experience and she gave it a 4 out of 5 stars! On the second morning, she was so excited, she ran into the classroom, dumped her bag and took a seat without even waving goodbye! She is shy and normally takes some time to feel comfortable around new people but she seems to have no issues at Skill Samurai and is very comfortable and confident there. This is attributed to the nurturing and supportive environment created by Kiran and his team. Íris particularly appreciates that the groups are small and the coach is attentive. At Skills Samurai, they have quickly picked up on Iris’s interests, skills and strengths and are encouraging her to “spread her wings and fly”!!! I believe she is the true version of herself just by being around them. Even the way she carries herself when I see her after camp. She stands tall and has a happy stride. She’s not slumped and defeated like she normally is after a day at school. She is very happy and chatty when I collect her in the afternoons. A clear indication that she had a wonderful time. Iris is very keen to further explore what Skill Samurai has to offer her.

We’re incredibly grateful to the team at Samurai for the care and dedication they’ve shown our son. As a child on the autism spectrum, he often faces challenges with focus and learning, but the staff have been so patient, understanding, and attentive to his individual needs. What truly stands out is how they’ve taken the time to recognise his struggles and adapt their approach to help him better understand coding concepts. Their supportive and encouraging environment has made a huge difference, Thank you to Kiran and his beautiful Team!

My 9year old daughter loves Skill Samurai! The teachers are super helpful and make learning fun and easy . the lessons are engaging and my daughter always looks forward to it every week. It’s a really good way to spark creativity and confidence in coding. Highly recommend!
