Andreis is such a wonderful teacher — patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in students’ goals and interests. My child started from completely like a beginner, and after only four months of lessons, he is already prepared for a piano concert, which says a lot about the inspiration and motivation Andreis brings to my kid. In only a short time, I can see such a huge improvement not only in musical skills, but also in confidence and enthusiasm. My kid is excited to go to the lesson every week and leaves lessons feeling motivated and proud of the progress being made. We are very grateful for Andreis for making lessons enjoyable and for the Sono music school for creating a supportive music learning environment. Highly recommend them to other families.

My son has been learning drums with Max (M) at Sono School of Music for two years - his progress and enjoyment have been fantastic. Max really connects with him and tailors the lessons to suit his personality. He looks forward to every lesson. Max is an incredibly skilled and well-trained musician (to postgraduate level), with experience across drums, piano and percussion - he brings all of this into the lessons in a really engaging way. He’s also an active gigging musician, which is inspiring for my son. Finding the right music teacher can be hard, but we feel very lucky to have found Max and would highly recommend him.

My son has been taught by Sam F at Indooroopilly for several years and my son is now very proficient and loves the guitar. Sam is highly patient and understands how to keep children interested and comfortable attending lessons which was the key to success as sometimes my son was getting frustrated at his own progress. Sam understands that a love and curiosity for music needs to be front of mind with children and was very encouraging. Sam is an excellent teacher and role model for children.

We’ve had a great experience at Sono School of Music. Max M is a wonderful drum teacher—very patient, caring, and clear in his explanations. My child really likes him and always looks forward to the lessons. He enjoys the lessons a lot and has shown noticeable improvement. We would happily recommend this school to friends.

My son has been spending 2 good years learning drums with Max. He is super helpful, understanding and flexible. A lot of improvement can be seen when my son practices at home. I would recommend coach Max to everyone who wants to learn drum.
