Excellent place to enroll your kids to learn to swim

My 6yo has been swimming since he was 6 weeks old but we only came to state swim about 4 months ago and his swimming has improved 10 fold. The teachers are so well trained and the class sizes are great. My son is easily distracted but has been so engaged at every class. My youngest is also in the baby class which is great also. Picking up all the skills and never takes the smile off his face :)

I have been taking my little boy for swimming lessons here now for some time and I must say I’m really disappointed with the lady that’s on reception every time- she is so rude and not friendly at all, when I’ve asked her a question she acts as if it’s such a hassle every time and I’ve even had an eye role from her, she is quite rude- not great customer service service skills at all! It has put me off going back but I must say the instructors are all so lovely and good at what they do so we will continue to for the time being because of that.

Very disappointed with the customer service. I arrived at 11:30am and was immediately met at the door and told they didn’t open until 12pm. She basically stared at me the moment I opened my car door. The interaction felt quite unfriendly from the outset. As she rolled her eyes, the staff member did let me in anyway, but when I asked reception about swimming lessons for my 6-month-old, I was simply told to “look online.” There was no greeting, no attempt to answer my questions, and no real interest in helping. I took a flyer and left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I can’t say for certain why the interaction felt this way, but it certainly gave me the impression that I was being judged rather than treated as a potential customer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business at all!

I am extremely disappointed with State Swim Joondalup. We exiting the freeway to looking for a toilet for my 3-year-old son. We went to a nearby center and asked the receptionist if we could use their toilet. She asked if we are their customers, to which I explained that my son had taken lessons here before, but we stopped for a while and we are planning to return soon. She then told us we couldn't use the toilet because it’s private. This response was shocking for me ! When we started toilet training, occasionally we asked restaurants or bars for toilet and even we weren’t their customer, everyone was happy to help out.
