Before teaching with Micha, I had never drummed a whole song before. Micha is an incredibly welcoming and fun teacher who really embraces your learning style. She is incredibly experienced, creative, flexible and makes you feel very calm and capable while learning the drums. There have been loads of times I would come up with a weird idea or unconventional approach and Micha would adapt the lesson and help me understand more about music. Definitely recommend for any stage of drumming from beginner to expert.

Micha is one of the best drum teachers in Canberra! I've been a a student (in my 50s) with Micha, on and off and in a number of settings, for 6 years. She is really focussed on supporting me to achieve my drumming aspirations. She's not plodding through a generic process. Even when I turn up to a lesson a bit tired and uninspired, I'll still come away feeling energised and excited to be a drummer! I'll never be a cracking hot drummer, but that's ok. I'm definitely an improving drummer, and a happy student of the beats :-)
