Andre is an excellent teacher who lets you explore your own art style but is always there to guide you if you need. The art classes are casual drop-in style so you can start a new project or even work on your own art pieces for a while. Although there is a style or theme set for each class, Andre encourages students to explore their own style and subject. All materials are provided from acrylic, water and oil paints to charcoal and more! Andre often comes by with reference images or artists inspiration which I find super helpful. I enjoy the Thursday classes as they are intimate and sometimes you can even get a nice cup of tea to compliment your relaxing and creative evening. Try it out on your own or bring your friends along for a fun group activity! 🎨🖌️✨

Whether you're new to art, experienced or, like me, somewhere in between but haven't picked up a pencil in years, there's a place for you at Andre's classes. Andre creates a friendly and welcoming environment, with different art styles or subjects to focus on each week, though you are also encouraged to explore your own creative expression. He's on hand to demonstrate the various techniques and methods, and always provides helpful and encouraging tips and advice. Should mention too that all materials are provided.. Highly recommend!

I've been attending art classes with Andre for over 7 years! Andre has taught me so much about how to draw and paint with technical demonstrations and also by kindly assisted me when my technique is not quite there. He also weaves in art history and just allows all his students to have fun in the process, always checking in at the end to make sure we enjoyed our time. I highly recommend!
