World class studios, caring teachers. My child has been dancing at Tanya Pearson Academy for a couple of years. She has been loving it. I enjoy sending my children to this studio because I find the principals are not only renowned artists, they are also true educators who have incredible visions and truly care about the growth of their students. Highly recommended.

Tanya Pearson Academy introduced Adult Ballet in July 2023. I have been a regular since - clocking up over 250 classes! They provide levels from Beg to Intermediate, and we have the opportunity to perform yearly. It is my happy place! TPA provide state of the art facilities, exceptional teachers and I’ve recently taken advantage of their in-house specialist Physio. It is a joy to dance in a community blending children, full/time pre professionals and adults who all love ballet. I highly recommend TPA and look forward to meeting you at the barre sometime soon.

Unfortunately, our experience with administration and refund processing has been very disappointing. The academy agreed to refund unused tuition fees for the following term after withdrawal, but after several months the refund still has not been received. We have followed up multiple times without any clear resolution. It should not take several months to process a refund that was already approved. If this matter continues to be ignored, we will have no choice but to seek assistance from NSW Fair Trading. While the refund process took several months and required multiple follow-ups, the matter has now been resolved and the refund was received. Thank you for finalising the issue.

Our experience with TPA's management team has been extremely disappointing due to inconsistent communication, slow responses and poor handling of a straightforward billing dispute. Before enrolling, I specifically asked by email whether fees would be pro-rated. TPA Management replied in writing: "Yes there will be a pro rata for the remaining weeks of term." Based on that written confirmation, I decided to enrol. However, I later received invoices for the full term fee instead. Over the following weeks, I followed up by email and through reception. We never received email reply and were told multiple times at reception that the matter would be reviewed and that a revised invoice would be issued. Despite these assurances, the outcome never changed. When I eventually spoke with management via phone call, I was told that under their Terms & Conditions only students joining after Week 3 are eligible for fee proration. This directly contradicted the written advice we had received before enrolment and relied upon when making our decision. To make matters worse, term dates had not been provided to us before enrolment, so there was no way for us to know which week of the term we were joining. The issue was never the amount involved. It was the principle. TPA provided a clear written confirmation before enrolment that fees would be pro-rated, and we relied on that assurance when making our decision, particularly as term dates had not been provided to us at the time. Despite being aware of their own written commitment, they later refused to honour it and instead insisted on applying their Terms & Conditions. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent, and it was often difficult to obtain clear updates on the status of our case. The lack of coordination between different departments only added to the frustration. We ultimately paid the invoice because we did not want the dispute to affect our child's experience. However, the way this matter was handled has left us with very little confidence in TPA's management, communication and customer service. It is a shame because the teachers are excellent (they are the main reason we still want to stick around along with the fact that it is close to home) , front desk staff is always friendly, the facilities are clean, spacious and well maintained. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to TPA's reply : Important dates information was NOT sent to us in initial enrolment email and was only provided after several follow-ups. AND I can neither find those dates in family portal nor on TPA website, suggest TPA check from your end.

Be mindful sending your child to this place. Full payment will be demanded event after your take your child off the enrolment. If you dispute and ask questions, they send you to debt collection. No communication from their office when you needed them to clarify on terms and conditions of enrolments, neither would they bother to send you the T&Cs even you ask them again and again. When you challenge them on the legitimacy of their charges, Bam! They slam you with their T&C which they stated you have agreed upon enrolment. Parents! You won’t find their T&C before you enrol, but when you enrol, you automatically considered agreed to whatever T&Cs they said they had. They are too busy to answer your calls and reply to your emails. But their management has no problem sending your details to debt collection and of course, reply to this review and deny they had anything to do with you in 2 hours of this review being left here! Classic! ✅Update: somehow their management changed their reply from denying having anything to do with this review to asking to contact them in 10 business days. Interesting enough, it’s questionable if TPA Management could reply customers’ emails or return phone calls in 10 business days, but wait, they ask people who wasn’t happy about their services to contact them in “ 10 business days”! Yet in reality, they barely contacted me except for asking for more money. That’s gold! TPA, you’ve done it again! 🤑
