Nick Aston is son's Piano teacher, he is the best piano teacher we met so far in melbourne. He is very knowledgeable and professional and responsible . He started teach my son in August 2025, from August 2025 to May 2026, my son has pass Ameb piano grade 7, and grade 8 . If any kids in Melbourne like to study Piano we strong recommdate to Nick. My daughter wanted to learn violin and have enrolled her for lessons at Blackburn Music Academy. Her violin instructor Justin is fantastic and very engaging. He has made learning the instrument both easier and fun for her and she thoroughly enjoys every lesson. Can not recommend this institution more. First contact with the owner was open with information and very flexible. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would give 6 stars if I could.

My son really enjoys his piano lessons, his teacher is wonderful with him. Communication is always great with Blackburn Academy and his teacher. The teaching is top quality and from my 11 year old son “ it’s really fun and my teacher explains things really well”. Highly recommend.

My son has been getting Violin Lessons from Jeremy for 2 years. The lessons are educational and enjoyable. Jeremy is an expert in both technique and musicality. He is patient and encouraging and his lessons are well structured. I would highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for an exceptional violin teacher.

I have been attending drum lessons here since three years, and each lesson has been packed with so much fun. I have learned and achieved so much in only a short time of being here, and my teacher Paul teaches with so much interest. With his help I have been able to achieve First Class Honours in all the grade levels I have completed. I highly recommend Blackburn Academy to learners of all ages.
