The House of Dance in Hobart, TAS offers dance classes across all genres starting from 18 months of age. Operating across three locations, 7 days a week, it runs three departments: House of Dance, Baby Ballet Tasmania, and Baby House, catering to beginners through to aspiring performing arts professionals.

If your looking for a dance school then look no further! My daughter has been under the care of House of Dance for over 10 years now and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. It’s not just the quality of the dance tuition, or the extensive range of what they have to offer, it’s the nurturing environment that House of Dance provides. For my daughter House of Dance isn’t just a dance school, it’s her home away from home.
Highly recommended HOD My daughter started dancing with House of Dance back in January 2024 and it was the best decision we made she has made beautiful friendship and I can’t believe the growth she has grown in such a short amount of time!! She loves and adores every teacher that takes part in her journey and we will never look back she has definitely found her HOME!!
Both our children attend classes at House of Dance and I have found the staff to be nothing but welcoming and professional. Classes are inclusive, engaging, safe and age-appropriate and take into consideration the ability level and interests of the dancers. Our youngest child, while desperately wanting to dance, found separating from us at the start of class very difficult. Over time, and with great care and ongoing communication, he now enthusiastically attends class without us, a process I have found both positive and reassuring. We really value the highly trained teaching staff and would highly recommend House of Dance for anyone looking for a place to start (or continue) their dance journey.
A team of genuine, professional, friendly staff who have created a safe, happy space for dancers of all ages to learn, grow, experiment and thrive. Michelle and her spectacular team run a business where they teach responsibility, accountability, strength, fitness, bravery, determination, resilience, team work, self esteem, oh and dance! 11/10
A wonderful dance school with amazing teachers. Extremely well run with great communication. The end of year concerts are joyous occasions, enjoyed by participants and audience members alike!
