The International Dance Studio

Annabel and Vaughan were both fantastic. We had Vaughan for our first lesson and he helped us understand some of the basic principles and developed the early stages of our choreography. He was really helpful and clearly passionate about dance. Annabel later took over and worked with us over the weeks in the lead up to our wedding. She helped further develop our routine, and nail the execution of the moves, while also paying attention to the little things that we wouldn’t have really thought about – such as actually looking at one another and looking happy, rather than just concentrating on where our feet were and what was next! Annabel was wonderful to work with, professional, knew what she was doing, and friendly. The choreography she and Vaughan prepared for us not only looked good, but was fun to execute. 10/10, would recommend. We intend to join regular beginner classes once things quiet down for us.

My Husband and I had an amazing time learning with Vaughan. We had no previous dance experience so we started with a term of the intro ball room class - this was a great idea as it prepped us really well for our private lessons. We had an absolutely blast and Vaughan did an awesome job helping us create our very own first dance. We got so many compliments and we would absolutely do this again. Thank you Vaughan!

My now husband and I bought the care-free package with Vaughan and Alison and we are so glad we did! We had no dance experience whatsoever and it was such an absolute blast learning how to do dance with Vaughan during the group classes. His smile and energy was infectious and made us all feel so comfortable during the classes! We then got the best out of our private sessions with Alison who choreographed our first dance. Instead of learning how to dance, all we had to worry about was learning the choreography. Alison made sure the dance was exactly what we wanted, she took our ideas and found a way to make it all happen, even our big finish lift idea! So many guests said they’d never seen anything like it at a wedding, we definitely wowed, and had so much fun putting it together. Our dance lessons were my favourite part of wedding planning! Vaughan and Alison are a dreamteam to work with and learn to dance with, can’t recommend them highly enough!

Vaughn was a top bloke! His balance of patience and professionalism helped us choreograph a dance that we are really excited to perform.
