The Karate School

My sons started at The Karate School in 2008. One is now a black belt and teaches at the school. I can say without a second thought that my sons are what they are today in part due to the school. The skills and attitudes have and continue to benefit from those who run, teach and attend the school. They have found life long friendships as well.

We started taking our 2 boys to The Karate School when they were younger as they were being bullied. The instructors have been fantastic. Over time we have seen both boys grow and mature and gain more confidence, our oldest has even attained his black belt and teaches to pass on to others some of the knowledge he gained. Cannot recommend more highly.

The Karate School dojo is amazing, very well structured karate system from 1970s. My son joined over a year and a half ago, he has lots of progressions so far and has participated many tournaments. Sensei/teachers are well respected professionals in Karate and experienced on how to help students to master not only their techniques but also build up their resilience. Class size is relatively small, meaning more attention from the teacher for improvements, very friendly vibe community. Highly recommended.

An amazing school. The teachers show amazing patience and knowledge in teaching kids and adults, including nyself. . My fitness, strength and cardio have improved substantially since joining, on top of learning traditional Karate techniques, discipline and practices. My family has even travelled to japan with the school, showing just how much the school means to us.

I've been a student at this dojo for nearly twenty years, and both of my kids also trained here. Karate is taught with both a fun and traditional focus. Genuine and authentic Japanese karate.
