Great dojo with a strong community feel. We have been attending for three years and it’s our “happy place”. My daughter has made lots of good solid friendships here and the training and coaching is second to none. Coaches are all super encouraging and supportive and genuinely care about the well-being of the students. WIMA’s approach is wholistic- it’s about developing the person as a whole, mentally and physically- not just martial arts skills. Kyoshi Graham has fantastic leadership skills and is a wonderful role model for all the kids who come to this dojo to train. And it’s all done with a sense of fun and humour! Love the parents here too- everyone is there for each other. Highly recommend this dojo if you’re after a place to feel at home in and where you’re encouraged to be your best self. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The World Institute of Martial Arts is by far the best dojo in Perth. Since my daughter started learning martial arts (FMA and Muay Thai)under Kyoshi Graham and his staff she has become a wonderfully strong and confident young woman, both physically and mentally. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Also from a parent’s point of view they have a great community vide with coffee shops and cafes close by.

I highly recommend The World Institute of Martial Arts. They have great facilities, wonderful instructors & lovely students - everyone looks after each other. The instructors are amazing with students of all ages - my son was so nervous at first but he was was warmly welcomed and quickly made to feel at ease and part of the team. If you're looking for professional training with a family feel then this is the place for you.

I have been with Graham on and off (due to lifestyle changes and injuries) since 1997 when it used to be WAIMA in Greenwood. Graham accepts anybody who they are. You could be autistic or struggle with any disability - whatever the case is, you'll be accepted and you'll have a sense of belonging surrounded by positive vibes. If you are looking for a place to have fun, and to enjoy the process of learning self defence or martial arts then you have chosen the right place. Good luck!

25 Delage Street is the place to be. 🙌🏼 The business name may have changed, the location may have changed, but as a dedicated individual whose approach to work has remained unwavering, Kyoshi Graham maintains a sense of community and trust, treating everyone like family and has built a strong foundation of loyalty and care - and that will never change, which is why my son has continued to train with him and his team of dedicated assistants over the last 12 1/2years. 2024 seen the success of a student at the Bangkok Muay Thai Nationals representing Australia, a State Champion and several amateur wins and this year he has 6 students including last years student head to Bangkok to represent Australia again in 2025 - but it’s not just about the competition, it’s important to note that it is also about the values and comraderie that comes from all of this. Muay Thai or Freestyle Martial Arts choose your style. I highly recommend you head to the dojo have a chat with Kyoshi Graham and his wife Deanne - check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
