Joining this karate dojo has been very rewarding. It blends traditional martial arts values with a supportive atmosphere. The sensei and sempai are knowledgeable and encouraging, creating a space where everyone—especially women—can feel safe, strong, and respected. This is a friendly, supportive club that I love training with! Anyone can join age 13+ including uni students and adults of any age - all welcome. Costs are kept low so that everyone can enjoy it and there is a concession for students! I would encourage anyone to get in touch and come along to a class to try it out. Some kids are accepted with parents who train also, so please chat to the club if you have any questions. Give karate a go!!

Super-friendly atmosphere combined with serious training in a traditional karate style! I've trained at the club for nearly seven years and can highly recommend it. The dojo at the University is top-notch. Classes have a good number of students to receive a great level of instructor attention. And it's one of the few martial arts places/ organisations that is not for profit. Fees are low, and you pay as you go.

Great place to learn Karate, with Stacey as a sincere and enthusiastic instructor. A place to stay physically fit and mentally agile. I wish I had started a long ago.
