My daughter Stella really liked Twisters. It was really fun and she learnt lots of good skills. Her teammates and coaches were really inclusive, funny and friendly. Twisters is a really nice gymnastics centre with all the equipment needed to compete or just have fun. We loved this place. Recommend to go here.
The coaches are fantastic with young children and genuinely care for each and every one of them. The activities are varied and there is always something new and fun for them to learn. The staff are dedicated to their ongoing development and help challenge the children with new things to try in a safe environment.
Great education for the young gymnastics. A bit noisy for an oldie like me
Twisters provides a safe, friendly environment for kids, and the coaches are kind and supportive. It’s clear they care about the children and managing large groups isn’t easy. Our child did enjoy attending classes. However, after a full year, we felt there was limited progression in terms of skills. For children who already have some prior experience, the program seems quite focused on general movement and conditioning rather than helping kids advance based on their individual ability level. Many of the skills covered were very basic and repeated over time. We understand the emphasis on safety and age-based grouping, but for kids looking to build new or more challenging gymnastics skills, the program may feel a bit slow. Overall, Twisters is a good, well-run club for beginners or kids wanting a fun and safe activity, but it may not be the best fit for children seeking stronger skill development.
Suits single child families who want their kids to become gymnasts. Doesn’t work for families with more than 1 child as they require children to watch from upstairs if not in the class. They seriously suggested I leave my 2.5 year old upstairs unsupervised during the baby playtime. They say this is for safety reasons but the gym is huge so they could easily have under 2 and over 2 areas but they are super inflexible with suggestions. They do make exceptions though for families they know though so 🤷🏻♀️ Kaygees lets siblings do classes together regardless of age, it’s also based on free play which is much more age appropriate.
