Great place to train. Casual friendly atmosphere with everyone welcome. The instructor Simon Farnsworth is a second degree black belt which decades of experience and a willingness to share his knowledge. It's safe and friendly for beginners and for the dedicated fanatic, there are over a dozen brown and black belts in different weight categories to get that intense roll. There is also a thriving kids class and a growing contingent of women. Highly recommended!!

Just started my jiu jitsu journey! the instructor Simon is highly skilled and is a really nice person! Always makes the classes a fun learning environment to be in.Everyone who trains at the club are really friendly and are always happy to help the new people like myself.

Have been training here for over 5 years now and it is easily the best BJJ gym in the hills. Classes are friendly, a good size, and cover a great range of techniques applicable to self defence, competition, and gi and no gi. Simon Farnsworth, a third degree Black belt, has been teaching BJJ for over a decade. The club has a range of skilled practitioners to suit any level, and classes always have a mix of many beginners (white belts), blue, purple, and brown belts, and 4 other black belts.
