We have known Joe for some years now. He taught my son and daughter drums when they were around 6yrs and 10yrs. We were blown away with the patience and professionalism he showed to our kids which made it an enjoyable experience for them especially starting off playing drums. It was also pleasing to see a teacher ask the student what "they" wanted to play instead of the other way around. Now that Joe has established this business I would highly recommend Upbeat School Of Music to any person wishing to start off on their music career...you truly will not be disappointed 👍👍

Highly recommend this school for drummers! Joe (drum teacher) is a talent who is very friendly and nice to kids. Lessons are so much fun and my son really enjoys it every week. Joe helped us to set up and tune the drum set we bought for home training. This school also organised concert for students and their families in the end of the year, where every student showed what they taught. So, if you bring your kid to this school you won’t be disappointed.

My son has been having drum lessons with Joe for almost a year now, he has picked it up really quickly thanks to Joe and his method of teaching. Joe makes the lesson interactive and fun. Joe has patience and understands all kids learn differently and adapts his teaching style to suit your child. 100% recommend.

I can very highly recommend Joe if you’re looking for a drum teacher!! He has a wonderful manner with his students & my son has made huge gains since beginning with Joe, particularly in the technical elements of drumming.

My daughter is a student at Upbeat School of Music and she absolutely loves it. She has autism and as such the lessons can become less structured or repeating of the basics a number of times and her teacher has been absolutely fantastic. We have never felt any pressure or felt unwelcome as can be the case at times around other occasions or places and she looks forward to her lessons each week. As a parent I don't expect too much to come from a "music career " and that is not why we come here, my daughter has a great time and has something to feel proud about and somewhat "special" as a drummer girl. We will be repeat customers as we thoroughly enjoy the staff and the facility it provides us as a family. Highly recommended
