Valmy Academy

Valmy has been such a gift for our family. As a homeschooling parent, you are always thoughtful about the environments you place your child in. From the very beginning, Valmy has felt warm, welcoming and deeply respectful of young people. My 7 year old son has absolutely flourished here. He is not just learning acting, singing and dancing. He is building confidence. He is finding his voice. He is learning how to be part of a group in a way that feels safe and encouraging rather than competitive or pressured. What stands out most is the culture. It is not ego driven. It is not about perfection. It is about growth, creativity and belonging. The connections formed during breaks are just as beautiful as what happens in class. Watching children form friendships and parents connect over a cup of tea while their kids light up on stage is something quite special. We feel very grateful to be part of this community. You know when all you want is for your kid to find their tribe? My daughter is 5. The first thing that comes out of her mouth when she wakes up on 'Valmy days' is overwhelming excitement because she has class. The Academy is very down to earth and friendly. All the kids look after each other and their friendships are based around endless fun - like a big family. You cant bottle that. My daughter does a lot of training in the field of performing arts and occasionally books paid work. Going to Valmy fills her with the biggest joy and keeps her motivated and happy in everything else she does - it is clear to see that Valmy will meet your child where they are at, engage them in an age appropriate way and give to your child rather than just focus on what your child achieves. We could not be happier with our experience at Valmy. Our 7 year old son genuinely looks forward to his classes each week, and that says everything. He has grown in confidence, made new friends and developed skills in acting, singing and dancing in an environment that feels supportive rather than pressured. What stands out to me is the culture. I highly recommend this beautiful academy - studying the diploma of musical theatre over the past year here has been an epic journey of self discovery and commitment to my craft. LVBA has benefited not just my confidence but improved my technique as a performer immensely. I had the privilege and honour of being taught by Loic and his training and legacy evidently lives on through the academy and every performer that comes through it. I am so beyond grateful for my new found family at LVBA, and for another place I can call home 💙

My girls who are 11, 8 and 6 have all thrived in your homeschool class!! They look forward to this class every week, and their confidence has soared. The teachers are so knowledgeable and supportive, and the welcoming community that has been fostered in your school has kept us coming back. Highly recommend !!
