Viva School of Music

My children started lessons at this school mid last year and so far they have been enjoying it. My children really like both Kym and Camilla as they find them both are very good in balancing their strictness and very patient in understanding their weaknesses. Kym is also very good in finding the right music for my eldest child to play on piano. I also receive emails from Camilla for my youngest child’s violin practice at home. We find it very helpful as violin is very tricky to us. My youngest one had a replacement teacher named Olga. We also like her as Olga also provided feedback for improvement after each lesson. So we are very happy and will recommend this school.

We’ve had a fantastic experience since my son started piano. The environment is warm and encouraging and Hilloc is an exceptional teacher. He makes lessons enjoyable while building real confidence and skill. My son genuinely looks forward to every class and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the progress my two boys have made over the last 2 to 4 years at Viva. They’ve both developed a genuine love for music. It took some time to find stability for my older one, coming from a different piano school and regular change of teachers, but Sabrina was great to assist in finding the right teacher to match his personality. And my younger one has been with Andreanna since the start; she has a gift for keeping him interested and focused, turning lessons into something he truly enjoys. Some highlights to mention are the end-of-year concerts and AMEB examinations which are fantastic opportunities for them to perform and building their confidence in playing. I highly recommend this school to any family!

My son enjoys his piano lessons in Viva School. He has Kym as his teacher. Kym has a unique way (patience, encouraging, and fun) in teaching piano for young kids. We can see my son likes going to the lessons every week.

I would very highly recommend Viva School of Music. Very helpful and effective communication with admin. It is also quite impressive how skilled and well experienced all the teachers are. Overall great environment for learning and support for children. My son's teacher Isobel is absolutely brilliant in how well she engages with him. She really knows how to engage with each child according to their individual needs. He has improved and progressed so incredibly well since working with Isobel. Thank you:)
